A. IGCSE:
In 2022, Vinschool’s 10th graders successfully conquered the challenging academic Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programme.
The latest results for Cambridge IGCSE, from Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) (ranging from A* [the highest grade] to G [the lowest grade]), show:
⭐ 60% of the grades achieved are A*/A, significantly higher than the average grade in the same subject exams worldwide (only about 47%), according to CAIE Global.
⭐ The percentage of students achieving A*/A grades for Global Perspectives and Mathematics is 76.4% and 69.0% respectively, 1.5 times higher than the average grades of students worldwide according to CAIE Global.
⭐ 72 students achieved A*/A in all five subjects: ESL, Mathematics, Sciences, Global Perspectives, and Computer Science.
These results are an accurate reflection of Vinschool students’ enormous effort during the past two school years. In particular, in the first IGCSE school year (2020-2021), online lessons were promptly organised by Vinchool, amidst the severe impacts of Covid-19, and students did their best so as not to be interrupted by the pandemic.
B. AS-A LEVEL
Vinschool, which delivers the Cambridge International Education programme in Vietnam, currently offers the widest selection of AS & A-Level subjects. There are 12 subjects for each student to choose from in different combinations based on their strengths, interests and career orientation. Vinschool is extremely proud that the first class of Cambridge programme students have achieved impressive scores in the latest AS & A-Level exams.
⭐ 66 students scored A*/As in the AS & A-Level exams, including 26 students scoring A* and A in all 3 or 4 subjects.
⭐ 66.7% of students scored an A*/A in A-Level Chemistry, compared to the global figure of 47% according to CAIE Global.
⭐ 47.1% of students scored an A*/A in Global Perspectives and Research in AS Level, significantly higher than the global figure of only 19.3% according to CAIE Global.
With such achievements, Vinschool students have met the entry requirements of prestigious universities in 1) the UK (e.g. University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University College London, University of Brighton, and University of Bristol), and in 2) Vietnam (e.g. Hanoi University of Foreign Trade, VinUniversity, RMIT University, British University Vietnam, Hanoi University of Technology, and Vietnam National University), and have an outstanding advantage when applying to top-ranked universities in the US such as the Ivy League schools (e.g. Harvard University, Princeton University, Yale University, and Columbia University).

To date, Vinsers have received acceptance letters from many top-ranked universities in the world such as University of Cambridge, University of Brighton, University of Amsterdam, University of Sydney, University of Melbourne, Australian National University, Monash University, University of Manchester, University of New South Wales, University of Toronto, New York University, Brandeis University, and Depauw University. Many of these universities have offered Vinsers scholarships or financial aid packages worth 50% to 100% of tuition fees.
