By Exploring Mysterious Scientific Worlds at the “Science Fair” – Kids’ 1,001 Questions Were Answered
Little Vinsers found answers to their own 1,001 questions via interesting scientific experiments, as well as the phenomena they observed. The Science Fair took place at Vinschool Kindergartens, exciting students across the country.
- What makes the trees grow?
- What happens to the propeller if there is no wind?
- What will happen if we soak paper in watercolour?
- …
Questions raised by the children were answered through 5 science discovery stations, each designed according to Stage 1 lessons of the Cambridge International Programme.
STEM Challenges – Corner for building 3D models of the Solar System

Fun Science with Plants – Corner for studying plants: Sowing seeds, observing the growth of the seeds, conducting experiments on colour changing flowers, photosynthesis, etc…

Sensory Play Station – Corner for recognising the properties of surrounding things

Colourful Design Station – Corner for making marble paintings and dyeing/drawing handicraft towels/clothes

Through the experiments, the children learnt how to collect information and share their findings about the surrounding objects and phenomena. In addition, they were equipped with and able to hone necessary study skills, such as:
- Asking questions and stating their opinion;
- Observing, analysing and collecting information;
- Sharing findings about surrounding objects and phenomena;
- Working in a team and accomplishing tasks;
- Developing observation, analysis and judgment abilities;
The event was a great opportunity to give students practical science experiences, stimulate their passion for discovery and knowledge acquisition, as well as their desire to explore, learn and create things.
